How this database is built
Methodology
Every number on this site is traceable to a primary source. Here is exactly how it gets here — and what we will never publish.
Sources
All facts come from each platform's own merchant documentation — official pricing pages, help-center articles, and merchant agreements. We record the exact source URL and the date we read it for every fact. We never use third-party estimates as data.
Extraction and verification
Facts are curated by hand from the source pages. Every fact is re-checked against its source URL before it is published; unverified facts never appear on the site or in the sitemap.
Change tracking
When a source document changes (a pricing or policy update), we don't overwrite history — the prior value is retained with its effective window, and the change appears in Updates. Pages show both the source's effective date and the date we last verified it.
Corrections
Spot an error? Email tyler@thegoodstudio.io with the page and the source you're looking at — corrections ship in the next publish cycle.
